Jan owns the company and is a partner. He graduated from the University of Economics in Vienna. As a partner, he covers most of the projects under supervision and implementation. He has extensive experience in operational management and managing people and has served as CFO and as CEO of numerous companies (Warburg Pincus, ING, NESS/APP, Bombardier and Skoda Auto), which dealt extensively with restructuring. At NESS he was responsible for M&A in CEE.

Ira Saul Rubenstein

Professional practice

Ira Saul Rubenstein is a Partner at Traficon in Prague, specializing in Alternative Energy & Clean Technology (AE&CT) matters. Mr. Rubenstein has advised, consulted, helped to finance, and (in the United States) served as investment banker for AE&CT companies and projects for over 20 years.

He also is Senior Advisor in the AE&CT investment banking practice at Avalon Group, Ltd. in New York; previously he served in similar roles at Bradley Woods & Co. Ltd. and Spencer Clarke LLC.

Mr. Rubenstein has been an industry entrepreneur, helping found and grow several private AE&CT firms. He also helped found both the Czech and the Slovak Green Building Councils, each of which promotes sustainable building activities in their respective countries.

Naum is a partner at Traficon and heads our Kiev office. Naum has over 15 years of experience in Russia and Ukraine as an entrepreneur and corporate business development executive creating and running companies, initiating, developing and managing various large-scale projects and leading strategic and tactical initiatives including joint ventures, strategic partnerships and acquisitions. His fields of expertise include marketing, IT, retail and commercial real estate development. Most recently, as a top executive of a large Ukrainian holding company with a focus on commercial real-estate, transportation infrastructure and waste disposal. Naum was responsible for strategic business development, investment and project development. An Ukrainian native, Naum was educated in the United States and worked in New York, Moscow, Odessa and Kiev.

Mr. Pavel Skvara, MSc.

Pavel is a Partner at Traficon for Real Estate and Renewable energy projects. Pavel worked in different positions in the real estate sector, including Country manager for Sekyra Group in Russia, Deputy General Manager for TK development Czech&Slovakia, Senior Development Manager at Discovery Group Czech&Slovakia and in retail chain expansion including Eurotel Praha and McDonald’s Czech. Pavel worked as the advisor to EnerCap Power Fund - a private equity fund with focus on renewable energy projects.

Stephen Lewis

Professional practice

Stephen Lewis is a Partner of Traficon and our country partner for the UK and France. He specializes in M&A and Equity financing for Renewable energy investments. Mr Lewis has over 30 years experience in management positions in the European Equity, M&A and Consulting sectors, the last 14 years of which have been in the CEE region.

He has held senior operational positions with Salomon Brothers, Dresdner Bank, UBS and CA-IB Investment Bank and was a Managing Consultant with Coopers and Lybrand and a Partner of Oliver, Wyman & Co.

Stephen is a graduate of the London School of Economics, Warwick University, Manchester Business School, London University and the Stern School of Business at New York University.

Ing. Pavel Novotný, MBA

Professional practice

Pavel graduated at University of J.E. Purkyně and has obtained his MBA at CMC Čelákovice/De Paul University Chicago. He is able to combine commercial, financial as well as legal aspects of business and has a solid operational background and technical experience mostly in the heavy machinery and high tech industry. Pavel has been the COO/CEO at ELMARCO and CFO/member of board for Skoda Transportation in the past. Most recently he was the Sales and Business Development Manager responsible for international expansion at HeliosTech. He has local as well as international sales and marketing experience for technology products, within the PV business specifically for supporting structures of photo voltaic power plants, which gave him numerous contacts with EPC contractors and investors.

Ing. Josef Řezníček

Ing. Miroslava Sedláková

She was one of the first members of Traficon. At present, she deals with economic consulting and services and also participates in project implementation. For twelve years she worked for Prague Breweries in many divisions including finance, sales, and logistics, where she primarily worked in financial controlling and budgeting. She has participated in many projects, in particular mergers.
